Scan your picture at a resolution of 300 dpi or higher. Your scanning software should allow you to specify the size of scans. We cannot work with an inkjet print that has been scanned. If you are unsure of how to check the resolution before you scan, check the file size after you scan it and before you send it. Your file should be a minimum of 1MB.
Once you have scanned the photo send it to us by regular email or by trasmitting in the download section. You can always send the photo to us by mail and we will do the scanning and return the photo to you.
Taking photos digitally and sending is probably the most popular method of transmission but there are guidelines here as well to ensure the best results. Since digital cameras become obsolete every six months the camera you bought 2 years ago may not give the best results when reproducing your image into a digital masterpiece. A camera that is 10 mega pixels or more is best to work with. If its less,(7.5 megal pixels) no problem just make sure to set the camera to the highest quality /largest image size setting. The minimum requirement for file size is 1MB. To see the file size, after downloading your pictures to your computer right click your mouse over the thumbnail photo, then at the bottom click properties. You will see the file size. It is possible to do work with less then a 1MB file so we can try but cannot guarantee results. A customer service rep will call you or email if we have a problem.
